Ⅰ. Positions and Eligibility

1. Full-time High-level Talents 

Level 1:Distinguished Scholars  (Open to all ages)

e.g. Academicians of Chinese Academy of Sciences/Chinese Academy of Engineering; Scholars with outstanding contributions in the field of philosophy and social sciences.

Eligibility:

--Abiding by the code of professional ethics for university teachers, having spirit of dedication, teamwork and being physically and mentally healthy;

--Obtaining remarkable academic achievements, being active in academic frontier and having a high academic status at home and abroad;

--Having made important scientific research achievements recognized by domestic and overseas colleagues;

--Having strategic and innovative ideas of developing the subject and being capable of leading the subject to meet or exceed the advanced level domestically or internationally.

Level 2: Outstanding Scholars (Age ≤ 55 )

e.g.Yangtze River Scholar Distinguished Professors of the Ministry of Education, Winners of National Distinguished Youth Fund, scholars with outstanding Contributions in the field of philosophy and social sciences, or with equivalent appointment standards

Eligibility:

--Abiding by the code of professional ethics for university teachers, having spirit of dedication, teamwork and being physically and mentally healthy;

--Obtaining great academic attainments, being active in academic frontier and having agreat academic influence at home and abroad;

--Having made outstanding academic achievements in the field;

--Being significantly influential and contributing in developing the subject or having made a great technical breakthrough;

--Being capable of leading the discipline to catch up with the advanced level at home and abroad.

Level 3: Academic Leaders  (Age ≤ 50)

e.g.winners of National Outstanding Youth Fund, candidates for Yangtze River Scholar of the Ministry of Education, Leaders of National Key Research and Development Program, scholars presiding over the key project of the National Natural Science ( or Social Science) Fund, scholars with important contributions in the field of philosophy and social sciences, or with equivalent appointment standards

Eligibility:

--Abiding by the code of professional ethics for university teachers, having spirit of dedication, teamwork and being physically and mentally healthy;

--Obtaining certain academic attainments, being active in academic frontier and having certain academic influences at home and abroad;

--Making domestic advanced academic achievements or major technological innovations, being capable of leading or facilitating KMU’s relevant disciplinesto achievebreakthrough development.

Level 4: Academic Backbones (Age ≤45)

Eligibility:

-Abiding by the code of professional ethics for university teachers, having spirit of dedication, teamwork and being physically and mentally healthy;

-Having independent research direction, active academic thoughts, and a certain academic influence in the discipline;

-Being capable of making influential academic achievements or having achieved influential technological innovations; 

-Contributing to the academic impact of a particular research direction in the discipline

Level 5: Excellent Scholars (Age ≤ 40)

It particularly refers to domestically trained Doctors who are recruited by KMU through interviews or redeployed to KMU from other institutions and those who are qualified to be resettled after studying abroad and coming back to China. It also includes scholars who have obtained Doctoral Degree abroad and the degree was accredited by the Ministry of Education, China. Post-doctoral fellows completed research at home and abroad are also welcomed.

Eligibility:

-Abiding by the code of professional ethics for university teachers, having spirit of dedication, teamwork and being physically and mentally healthy;

-Meeting the needs of teaching and research in KMU;

-Having influential academic achievements in a research area of the discipline;

-Having outstanding academic potential among same-aged academic talents

2.Part-time High-level Talents (Open to all ages)

Scholars who are eligible in Level 1-3 can be flexibly introducedto KMU forscientific and project research, teaching guidance, visiting and exchanges, etc.

Ⅱ. Disciplines

KMU is recruiting prominent talents of medicine, biological science, law, management, education, etc. all year around.

Ⅲ. Remuneration and Benefits

The monetary subsidies, annual salary and other benefits enjoyed by talents at all levels are pre-tax and individual income tax or other taxes shall be paid according to the requirements of financial management, which shall be withheld by the KMU.

1. For Full-time High-level Talents


Note:

* For Level-2 talents, corresponding academic team will beintroduced ororganized.

* For Level-2 & Level-3 talents, KMU will help to arrange their spouse’s work in the university if they meet the requirements of personnel transfer.

* For Level-4 talents, their application for specially designated professional titles should be based on university’s actual situation.

2. For Part-time High-level Talents

-Talents who meet the requirements of Level 1to Level 3 and complete stipulated tasks will be respectively paid 60,000 /50,000 /40,000 yuan per month. (The above salary should be paid after being evaluated in accordance with the contract or agreement)

-The remuneration for part-time talent’s academic team is based on the work tasks undertaken and the conditions of the department where the talents are introduced, but usually no more than 1/3 of that for full-time team.

-Part-time talents do not enjoy the housing subsidies, while the university provides accommodation subsidies during the working period. The standard is 400 yuan/day and calculated according to the actual working days in KMU.

-KMU will reimburse the round-trip travel expenses for the introduced talents twice a year.

-For part-time talents whoare in urgent need of the KMU’s discipline construction but do not meet the above conditions, remuneration is negotiable but shall not be higher than that of the part-time introduced talents at Level-3.
