On the morning of February 3rd, as the Chinese lunar Year of the Dragon approached, Dean of International Education School Liu Yajie, ViceChairman Zhang Xiaoli, Vice Dean Qu Fanwei,andVice Director of the Department of International Cooperation and Exchange Yang Jing,along with other faculty membersrespectivelywent to the Chenggong campus, off-campus student residences and apartments in the city to extend their warm Chinese New Year wishes andsend New Year gifts to the international students.

At the start of the event, the leaders of IES conveyed New Year greetings and wishes to the international students who stayed on campus during the winter vacation, wishing them academic success and good health in the new year. At the same time, they reminded the students to strictly abide by the relevant campus regulations, enhance their awareness of holiday safety, and have a safe and happy Chinese New Year.

Subsequently, the leaders and teachers presenttheNew Yeargifts to the international students. Together, they participated in the traditional activities of pasting Spring Festival couplets and the character “福” character (it means Fortune in English), welcoming the Year of the Dragon, and sharing festive blessings, experiencing the charm of traditional Chinese culture. The event was filled with laughter and festive ambiance. The students expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the school’s consolation and blessings, which made them feel the warmth and comfortlike home while being away from their homeland.
