The International Education School of Kunming Medical University conducted a wonderful event by celebrating Dragon Boat Festival of 2018 on 13th June. The program was hosted at the lecture hall of stomatology building. The program helped International students to know more about this festival and its history. The program started with the Leaders speech and then movedahead with the presentation of videos about dragon boat festival, which was explained in English for International students and in Chinese for Chinese students.
Foreign students performed a short drama about Qu Yuan, It was the main attraction of the event.
Students presented Dragon boat sacrifice dance in Han clothes which was a new experience for everyone.
Dragon Boat Festival Knowledge Quiz was also organized, which helped students to improve their knowledge about the festival. IES Students also sang Chinese songs. And later some fun games were also conducted. Then at last we had the recitation of Lisao (Duet). At the end of the program a thank you address was given and a group photo was taken. This concluded an amazing evening.
