Regulations on Leaving the Campus for International Students of KMU

This regulation is developed to maintain normal teaching and management orders, as well as to enhance administration for the leave of international students to insure the in-campus safety. The Regulations shall be interpreted and implemented by the International Education School of Kunming Medical University.

Article 1           International students, who ask for leave due to illness, private affairs, or public affairs, shall submit written The Leave Application Form for International Students at Kunming Medical University according to Regulations on Application for Leave and Resumption from Leave.

Article 2           International students who tend to leave the campus (for at least half a day or stay off campus), shall complete The Leave Application Form for International Students at Kunming Medical University, and submit to the teacher on duty or the reception, and report to studentsr coordinators by phone. Students who failed to complete the due procedures and leave without approval have to bear all the possible consequences.

Article 3           Coordinators shall have the information of students who leave the campus. The information shall be included in the students’ attendance check and shall be reported and recorded by Section of Students’ Affairs.

Article 4           Coordinators shall report to the head of Section of Students’ Affairs about the information of the students who always come back late.

Article 5           Students, who cannot come back within regulated time, shall contact coordinators automatically to inform the place and situation of his/hers, and declare when he/she will be back.

Article 6           International Education School shall, according to the records of attendance check, be well-informed about the situation of students who stay off the campus; for those who leave without specific reasons, the School shall try to contact them by every possible means. Special situation shall be reported to the university in time.

Article 7           No matter why the students leave the campus, shall return and report to the Section of Students’ Affairs Students who have left for more than 2 weeks without permission will be regarded as withdrawal of school and treated as drop-out according to Regulations on the Studentship Management.
