KUNMING MEDICAL UNIVERSITY

Established by Kunming Medical University to support outstanding international students to come study and do research（Except students who have received the Chinese Government Scholarship and the Yunnan Government Scholarship etc.）.

University provides scholarship 16,000 RMB /Year for the qualified students after annual assessment.

I.Admission Category

Full-time medical Bachelor’s Degree students in Chinese medium.

II.Program and Major

III.Application Eligibility

1.Applicants who must beforeign citizens, in good health conditions, good characters and abide by the laws ofthePeople's Republic of China and regulations of KMU.

2.Applicants must have been awarded senior high school graduation certificate. Age:18-25

3.HaveHSK 4 proficiency certificate or above.For those who have excellentqualifications butfail to reach the level ofHSK4, they can apply for one year of Chinese language supplement andstillenjoy thescholarship during the supplementary study period.

4.This program is for new students only.

V.Admission Procedure

1.Application online

Applicants are required to complete online-applicationon theInternational Students Service System of KMU,website:http://study.kmmc.cn.Necessary documents should be provided as follows:

①Application Form for Foreign Students to KMU（print after online application）;

②Copy ofvalidpassport;

③Copy of Physical Examination Record For Foreigner and blood check report;

④Copy of the high school graduation certificate and transcripts notarized by public notary departments;

⑤Copy of valid HSK4 Certificate or above;

⑥Curriculum Vitae and Study Plan writtenin Chinese or English;

⑦Copy ofNon-criminal Certificate;

⑧Copy of paying guarantee letter signed by applicants’ parents(Self-supportingprogram applicants must provide).

2.Notification and Interview

Kunming Medical Universitywill assess all documents and take interviews tothe applicants whose application documents arequalified,then confirm the final admission name lists.

VI.Admission Decision and Offer

1. Kunming Medical University mails JW202 Form and Admission Notice to the qualified applicants.International students who are admitted need to apply for X1 Visa in time ,then come to register with all original application materials and admission documents in International Education School of Kunming Medical University on the dates specified in the Admission Notice.

2.Scholarship recipients shall not change their majors and study durationunless they give up the grant.

3.Students who are unable to registerovertwo weeks after the deadline without anyrationalexplanation are considered as abandoning their Scholarship qualifications.

※4.Kunming Medical University will inform theadmitted students of registration andteaching arrangements,according to the relevant regulations and requirements of the People's Republic of China duringagainstthe pandemic COVID-19.
